Default First time brewing a stout

Bought Munton's Irish Stout mix (can) from my local store. He gave me instructions to brew....

Not sure if he left something out.... he didn't mention to put any corn sugar (or sugar or anytime) into the wort primary... only at the end when I bottle.

How will the alcohol ferment without the sugars?

Thanks

The sugar in the malt extract, that's what makes it beer. Please read this: How to Brew - By John Palmer - Introduction
or any number of other books on brewing.
