Had an idea while in the grocery store today.
Has anyone ever taken 1/2 gal carton of like Welch's juice and mixed it in with your beer?

Could you take like a blonde, Add like a Cherry/mango and get a cherry mango flavored beer?

What would happen if you put this in the kettle with the boil??
Would it "concentrate" the flavor doing the boil?

If dumped directly into the primary fermenter, Would it make the beer taste watered down?

I am sure the sugars would boost the alcohol % way up also. :drunk:

Just an idea....

Because you are adding both sugars and water the alcohol won't change much (how strong the beer is and how sugary the juice is would determine that).

I like adding fruit in secondary, the boil and primary fermentation can drive off a lot of the fruit aromatics. I just bottled a berliner weiss that had a couple bottles of cabernet juice from the supermarket. I have also used sour cherry juice with good results.

Just make sure toi go with 100% juice, and make sure it is the juice you want (not mostly apple or whatever).
