Ahhh, its every other post on Puff.com right there

The pro of leaving them on is that it helps keep the cigars flavors to itself instead of sharing with the stick next to it. The con is that it ages slower. Some folks cut the end to allow air flow for proper aging while keeping contact with neighboring sticks from happening. I usually leave them how they came and then pull the wrappers off the ones I plan on smoking in the near future and then those get brought to the top of the humi tray.

I have found that the cedar wrapped sticks get a little musty under the cedar after a little aging for whatever reason in my humi, so I now always pull the cedar off before aging.

Now its time for me to shut up for a while and take advantage of it being rather quiet at work and light up a Swag and collect all those smoke breaks that I never take all in one shot.

Thats the first thing that came to mind I was thinking....ahhh now the great debate begins. All I can really say is theres no wrong way, its more of what your preference is. Though I do make sure all my Anejos and Opus never touch anything but each other.

I only smoke cigars with the cello on. Burning cellophane gives me a unique high.

74% and holding. I had a couple year old cigars in my humidor that sat for that long at 50% or so. Will they recover or are they garbage?

If they didn't crack they should be better with higher humidity. It might take a while but just give them time.

+1 to this. If you can, try to keep your cigars in something else until your RH stables itself out so the RH swings dont hurt them. Other than that... Give em a nice rest and after a month or two they should be perfectly fine to smoke.

Sipping some Ron Zacapa Solera 23 and enjoying a God of Fire Carlito Blend from 2007. Sublime!
