Nice.... After I got the little one off the sugar buzz and into bed I enjoyed my first Tatuaje Mummy. I figured no better day than Halloween. I do wish I had something to pair it with though.

My favorite cigars tend to be Nicaraguan blends, I can only imagine having one in the setting you did would make it that much better. And lastly, Flor De Cana is good stuff, the plastic thing over the pourer though always gives me a hassle.
Have not tried the Joya de Nic's, but will keep them in mind. We will be heading back down to Panama, from Guatemala, overland in a few months and definitely plan to spend more time in Nicaragua (really enjoy it there).

Don't think we get the "tax plugs" (plastic thing over the pourer) here on Flor de Cana. Definitely don't get them on Ron Botran (Guatemalan) products (I reuse the bottles for mead). Ron Botran's Zacapa Centenario or Reserva also make a very nice complement to a good cigar. I prefer the higher end Botran products to the Flor de Cana, to me they taste smoother and the Flor, even at the high-end, has a bit of a bite. Our usual cocktail is Ron Botran 12 year with fresh coconut water...yum...and 100% natural.

Recently found a little smoke shop in Guatemala City where I can Montecristo #2's for Q55 each (about US$7). Nice treat when I am in the City. Ironically, most big brand name cigars are crazy expensive here. I assume because they are probably exported from the USA.

There is also a co-located cigar and sushi bar in the City....if they rented rooms I just might never leave!

Thoroughly enjoyed it, and it was only 2 days off the truck and in the humi. They should keep getting better too judging by how well everyone says their others monsters have aged. Topqualitycigars had em a day or so ago if you want to compare the price.

Picked up a La Amor de Cubana Mi Amor Valentino on my lunch break. I'll probably smoke it Sunday while watching the Bears destroy the Titans...

I have 4 of those in the humi right now. They will certainly be a mainstay too, they're damn good. Enjoy the smoke and the game!!

So the La Amor De Cuba Mi Amor + Oaked Imperial Whiskey stout + Bears destroying the Titans = Wonderful Sunday!

This was probably my favorite cigar to date that I've smoked.

JDN Dark Corojo Antao Double Fuerte with Southern Tier Creme Brle stout. The spicy chocolate flavors of the JDN balances the Creme Brle's sweetness really well.
