I figure they must ship in a humi pouch which would compensate for a dry climate but the mailbox or warehouse temp can really ramp up quick in Arizona they just may show up cooked. One of the biggest reasons I still shop at a B&M even though the prices can get a little high.
Companies do use boveda packs with their orders. But even still, the reasons you mentioned are why I prefer to use good vendors that are close(I'm lucky I live in Florida) so that the shipping is quicker. I also try to order in the beginning of the week so they dont have to sit over the weekend. Them sitting in that high of temperatures is also why a lot of people freeze cigars.

Gentlemen,

I am trying to compile a wish list of cigars so I can effectively shop. Could you list some of your 'must try' cigars? Maybe include the price range if you know off hand. Maybe three or so at each price point; super premium, premium... Etc. there's just too much info out there for me to effectively sample cigars

Thanks

A few good cigars in the low price range and still very good quality are:
Brick house, Brick house maduro, El Baton and Alec Bradley American blend. I've found all locally for around $3 and under, on line you could probably find them for less. The Brick house line was rated at a 90 by Cigar Aficionado if that holds any weight with you. I've found it a decent guide to at least get me started with a few new sticks. I don't always agree with their scores though. Every bodies pallet is different.

I'm no connoisseur, but I've definitely enjoyed the 3 or so Brick Houses I've had.

I just had a nice cigar score! I was helping my friend move and he decided to give me his small but good quality humidor because he hasn't smoked in a couple of years. There's about 10 good cigars in it that I'm hoping I can rehabilitate. This came at the perfect time because I was just getting ready to make my next order. Should be able to hold off and start smoking these in a few weeks.
