Default Got a couple of 3rd place medals in the mail today....

from the ET Barnette Homebrew Competition held up here in Fairbanks. I took 3rd in the fruit beer, and 3rd in the porter. Got alot of schwagg including tshirts, mag subscriptions, glasses, coasters, hops, grains, etc. But, alas, they had run out of the medals. I plumb forgot all about it until the box showed up today, and woohoo, 2 bronze medals. I feel Olympic now.
Just thought I would share with folks that might appreciate it.
Woohoo!
A great day to all...

Ahoy hoy,
The porter was a standard British to the bone porter.
The other was a Belgium blond w/ hibiscus flowers added. Made it red as blood, and weird like a beer/wine. The women love it.
Adios

Hibiscus is edible?

Interesting, I just happen to have a FireBall Hibiscus and plan to make a Belgian Red.
