I am traveling to Seattle tomorrow to do some fishing and was wondering if any of you have some recommendations for breweries or restaurants in the area. I have the whole day to kill, so any other activities would be great too!

Not sure what kind of beer and food you like but the Jolly Roger tap room of Pacific Maritime beers is a great place to start.

Maritime Pacific Brewing Company

Hales ales is just around the corner too.

And of course you have our very own Brewtopia with Naked City Brewing

If you like Thai food, I have to suggest Thai Thom

That should get you on your way.

Definitely get to Elysian Brewing:

Elysian Brewing Company

Every beer drinker I've taken there has been impressed.

+1

Same with Maritime. Good stuff. Then go to Stumbling Monk if you like Belgian beer. Go to Brouwers if you like anything beer at all (amazing place!), and if you want to pick up anything, bottleworks.

My favorite brewery in the city and probably the most overlooked is Big Time in the U district. They don't bottle their beer, so it makes it even more important to stop there.
