Default What to do with fresh horseradish?

I was out getting the mail and the neighbor stopped by and asked me if I like horseradish. He grows his own and grates it so he gave me a jar of freshly grated horseradish. But it's a pretty big jar so what can I do with it?

I know it goes good with beef and can make a mean shrimp cocktail sauce, but what else is it good for?

Add it into some good whole grain mustard and worcestershire sauce. It makes for a great dipping mustard for Pub Pretzels (soft Pretzels).

Salute!

Now that sounds like a good idea. We have some soft pretzels in the freezer too. I know what I'm snacking on tonight. Thanks!

Find a good recipe for Hummus and add it in. It is awesome. . .

Damn, another great idea. I already make homemade humus all the time so that would be an easy addition.

I use it on sandwiches. The store stuff anyway, I haven't had home prepared horseradish in years.

It may be weird but one of my favorite ways to eat roasted ham is mustard, hot sauce and horseradish mixed together and spread over the top.

Horseradish makes grilled cheese sandwiches much better.

Well, I typed one M instead of two, but Hummus - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

It's one of my favorite snacks. Make up a big bowl of that and dip everything from pita bread to crackers in it. I can only imagine that having some kicked up with some horseradish would be excellent.
