Great web app! I just placed an order for my standard ale and it was a little cheaper than my LHBS with a better available variety.
We'll see how it goes.

Sorry there will be no XML import on the horizon. The maintenence costs to keep something like that working are just too high.

Awesome...now if we could just get the small issue with potential GA customers squared away I'd be stoked

Ed,

You and your web crew have made it soooo much easier to make a recipe! Your previous setup was great though if you didn't know exactly what category an ingredient was in (specialty grain, base malts, etc) it was harder to find what you needed with the brew builder. I had that issue only because I got a pretty complex recipe from someone and didn't quite have a great understanding of all the ingredients (my ignorance, am always learning of course). Now with the new brew builder 2.0 it's soo much easier to find whatever you want. I should've timed how quickly I was able to whip together a simple pale ale brew, and for a pretty good price. Thanks for all the hard work you and your folks have put into this, it's going to help a lot of people brew a lot more beer while buying ingredients from you, I'd call that a great win win.

Every recipe already has the ABV listed on in the Brew Builder and the recipe area. Just take a quick look to the right of the SRMs.

No problem at all. I can understand why you would definetly want to know the ABV of a beer before you drink it.

I think any of those prizes would rock, and maybe if someone wins and they already have it they can get credit? I would personally rather have credit. Btw Sweet spot on your new ad last night listening to the archive now. Nice personal plug.
