Default West Virginia changes laws, allows higher ABV!!

Whaaaaahooooo.

If this has already been posted I apoligize.

Good old West Virginia has finally changed the laws to allow beers with 12% abv to be sold within the state. Some retarded law from the 1930's restricted beers over 6% (catagorizing beer as non-intoxicating). Finally, fianlly, finally....maybe we'll have a few craft beer stores open up instead of 7-11 or the grocery store only selling megabrew crap.

Craft beer legislation passes both houses - The Herald Dispatch

Sounds good, but remember what can be sold and where it can be sold are two different issues. Around here, even the little corner stores have a couple craft beers.

Alabama just passed this law a few months ago. The hold up in bama was one Senator who was convinced that if the state changed the ABV laws, Bud and Miller would sudden start brewing 12% Bud Lite. Alcohol laws in this country are so screwed up.
