Default West Virginia changes laws, allows higher ABV!!

If this has already been posted I apoligize.

Good old West Virginia has finally changed the laws to allow beers with 12% abv to be sold within the state. Some retarded law from the 1930's restricted beers over 6% (catagorizing beer as non-intoxicating). Finally, fianlly, finally....maybe we'll have a few craft beer stores open up instead of 7-11 or the grocery store only selling megabrew crap.

Craft beer legislation passes both houses - The Herald Dispatch

BOTTLED: Wild Strawberry Blonde, Oatmeal Stout, Amber Ale
KEGGED: Nut Brown, Smoked Porter, Blue Moon Clone 1, Blue Moon Clone 2, Something Red Amber Clone
CONTEMPLATING: Flanders Red, English IPA, Sack Mead

The elusive Beer Baron continues to thumb his nose at the authorities. Swaggering about in a garish new hat, he seemed to say "Look at me, Rex Banner! I have a new hat!" - The Simpsons

Sounds good, but remember what can be sold and where it can be sold are two different issues. Around here, even the little corner stores have a couple craft beers.

Remember one unassailable statistic, as explained by the late, great George Carlin: "Just think of how stupid the average person is, and then realize half of them are even stupider!"

Good news!
If your takin' your girlfriend out tonight
You better park the car well out of sight
'Cos if they catch you in the back seat trying to pick her locks
They're gonna send you back to mother in a cardboard box !

Alabama just passed this law a few months ago. The hold up in bama was one Senator who was convinced that if the state changed the ABV laws, Bud and Miller would sudden start brewing 12% Bud Lite. Alcohol laws in this country are so screwed up.
