Hello all, last night i bottles a batch and forgot to take the final gravity early on so I used the left over beer in the secondary with all the yeast. The final was 1.012 and I assumed it would be lower. Could the amount of yeast in the beer affect the gravity reading?

I have done the same thing and I feel ok about it :)
I am sure that a purist will tell you that it is not correct, but lets say that your FG from the secondary causes your ABV to be off +/- 1%.... does it really matter if you enjoy the beer?

Enjoy your beer :) , you'll get it right next time.
