Another wedding-recipe for next month's shindig. I think the candi syrup with it's fruity taste will fit well in the style (if it carries through). Again, I plan on Wyeast's 9093 Imperial Blend as I find it to be a flavorful, versatile yeast. Comments are welcome as always!

That sounds like too much sugar to me in such a light beer, I would worry that it will taste too thin (particuarly because that Imperial Blend is supposed to have very good attenuation).

I would drink that! But Oldsock might be right about the sugar. Watch that it doesn't get too dry unless that's what you want.

What lovibond is the toasted pale? I'd use something like .5 lbs of 120L, 4 oz of pale chocolate, and maybe some .5 lbs of caramunich. Bump the 80L up to .75 lbs. I know it's a little bit kitchen sinky but it would all work.

2 lbs of sugar is pretty insane for this brew. If you want a bigger beer than just up the 2 row to give it that more biscuity quality.
