I'll see your LSS and raise you a Yards Pale Ale.

You'll love Amarillo. I brewed an IPA with nothing but Amarillo and it's a grapefruit-tangerine explosion.

A combination of Cascade, Perle and Amarillo.

The most "grapefruity" hop out there IMO anyway is simcoe.Maybe it's just my palate, but I think it tastes just like grapefruit with a hint of pine.

I just got a bunch of BJCP cards on an IPA I entered into a local homebrew contest. Quite a few of them mentioned 'grapefruit'. I used mostly Magnum, Warrior and Cascade. My guess is the grapefruit came from the Cascade.

Are you talking about the All Amarillo extract recipe on the recipe board? I brewed that last Sunday and was hoping to get some of the flavors you described. Can't wait to find out!

Yep. It's the best beer I've ever brewed as a matter of fact.

I just brewed another batch (all-grain this time) yesterday.

I use an extra ounce of Amarillo as a dry hop for 10 days.

The most grapefruity beer I ever tasted was Hopslam. In the Hopslam clone topic here, a guy posted an email from the company that said dry-hopping with simcoe is the ticket. Or was it amarillo? No... I'm pretty sure it was simcoe.

I brewed a Wheat IPA that I used too much honey malt in (2 lbs)... The finish tastes like you just had half a grapefruit covered with honey... I used about 3 oz of Amarillo between bittering and 20 and 5 minute additions and more added at flameout...
