I've been getting a bunch of requests from friends for a pumpkin ale, any recommendations on how long it should age? (Extract recipe ideas also welcome).
And now we go AG!

On Tap: Nadda
Primary: Nadda
Planning: Extra Special Bitter

search on this forum for pumpkin ale - you will get lots of info.
the concensus seems to be a couple of months for the spices to blend.
i am brewing mine right now and hope it is ready for thanksgiving.
if not i will call it a spiced christmas ale
simplified signature:
beer, wine, cheese in various stages of production

Well, I know four months is too long. Swapped for a bottle Cheesefood's and by the time I drank it, no pumpkin or spices at all.
