From one newby to the others : if you're considering a pump for your IC : a got a 3W / 320L/hr one and it wasn't strong enough. I replaced it with a 12W / 620L/hr pump and it works fine. Also - fountain pumps have a "fountain height" -make sure the pump is rated at 1.5m + or it may be too weak.

hmm, I'm curious as to how you're using a pump with an IC. Doesn't the watter pressure of the water coming off the faucet suffice?

Im using it to pump iced water through the IC. Currently the tap water is probably OK but Im concerned in summer when its at 24degC +
