Just doing my part and sharing my stories of defeat so others wonít have to go where Iíve been.

Last summer I all-grain brewed twice, both times taking my brewing water straight from the garden hose, and both times I created something so evil it would put Damien the Omen child to shame.

This summer I switched to vinyl tubing from the same spigot, and all is well.

DONíT use a garden hose.

A white RV hose is made for potable water and works great.

I made my first three AG batches in the yard using a regular hose and they donít have any off taste. But after reading a bunch of posts lately about this I picked up a Drinking Water Safe hose at lunch today. Lowes had 50' on sale for $21. They also had a whirlpool whole house filter system on sale for $29 so I picked up both.
shat happens
