I am going to get some Bargain Fittings weldless pieces for my incoming 8 gal MegaPot and am wondering what, if anything, I need to attack to the bulkhead inside the pot? Since it it flat bottomed, I should be OK without a dip tube, right? Do I need anything attached to the ball valve inside the pot?

You don't NEED anything attached to the inside (except for the nut that attaches the valve and/or nipple to the pot), but you might want some kind of screen the filter out hop particles and a bit of trub, unless you use pellet hops without a "hop sock". If I had a choice though, I'd rather have no screen on the inside, you could transfer wort faster and just use a giant paint strainer in a bucket as a filter.

I use a nylon bag for my hops, so I shouldn't really need anything then. Thanks! :)
