anyone made this one ?






All-Grain - Bee Cave Brewery Robust Porter

This will make 5.5 gallons of Porter. Preboil is 7 gallons.

11# 2 Row
1# Chocolate Malt
1# Crystal 40
4 oz. Black Patent
1 oz. Black Roasted Barley
8 oz. Flaked Barley

Mash at 150 degrees for 60 minutes

Add 8 oz. of Malto Dextrin to boil at 20 minutes

Hops.

1 oz. Northern Brewer at 60 min.
0.5 oz Cascade at 60 min.

Hydrate a package of Nottingham.

Ferment for 2 weeks, then rack to keg or secondary.

I make a partial mash version of it regularly. I've had more compliments on that one than anything else I've made. It's awesome.

I made this about a month ago, racked it over some peachs and added some peach extract at bottling. Smells great! I also steeped some earl gray tea the last 10 min of the boil, so this beer shall be named.......... Earls Peach Karma!

is that hops in boil for 60 min or at the end of 60 ?

The minutes are how long they are boiled.

The time indicates how long the hops are in the pot for... i.e. 60 minutes is at the start of the boil.... 1 minute means 59 minutes into a 60 minute boil.
