Two weeks is the minimum, many of us leave our beers in primary for 3-4 weeks..we find that it makes our beer clear and tastes better...many people only leave their beers in primary for 2 weeks if they plan to secondary for two more, like with dry hopping.

Generally, yes. But it depends. Talk about hedging my bets, huh?

If the OG is under 1.050 or so, and it's not a beer with any flavors that need to mellow (like some harsh roasted malts, or lotsa hops), then that schedule would work ok. If it's a "bigger" beer that needs more time, I like to keep it in the keg at room temperature until it's ready to be chilled.
