Default at what point are crushed grains no good to brew with?

I have stuff for a Russian Imperial Stout that's been sitting around for 6 weeks... (I was guilted into brewing session beers for everyone I know and my big beer had to sit on the back burner of Beezlebub)

do I reorder or does black malt cure all ills?

It'll probably be ok, especially if they were stored in a cool, dry, dark place. Taste a few. If they taste good, they'll be ok to brew with.

I think they will be fine too.

I've used 2 month old grains that I had in a ziploc in the freezer and it was fine.

Uh, how long ago do you think the barley was malted?

I would trust grain for at least a year in an airtight bag. Crushed or not. I don't refrigerate my grains.
