Registration opens 8/1, eh? You are SO getting an email from me at 12:01 am on 8/1

I do have a question about a particular category though. I know that even discussion about the Eisbock style has been frowned upon around here in the past but given that this is a BJCP competition and that Eisbock is a recognized BJCP style - is it acceptable to enter an Eisbock?

Why is this frowned upon?

I don't know exactly, but I recall seeing some threads discussing this style being heavily modded in the past (not recently).

Brew whore.

The Brett'd Old Ale is possible, as is the Devil May Cry (BGSA) and a Traditional Witbier, so it could be as high as 5 entries. We shall see.

I need to get off my ass and brew my Roggenbier and Smoked Porter again soon.
