so my first beer has been in my keg for a week and it is still what seems like totally flat is that normal its at 12 psi at 39 degrees?

I think you should have some co2 in solution @ this point, have you checked for leaks?

I'm just at the same issue. My liquid hardware just showed up in the mail and I was expecting perfect carbonization at 10psi for just over a week.

Poured a glass and after the head settled I had 0 carbonization... It might be time to crank it up to 30 psi for a few days.
