I've been on the waiting list at Widmer to get a retired keg for well over 6 months and finally got word I'm up next. They're going to have two kegs for me, but at this point I don't believe I can use them. I thought I'd reach out to folks here and see if anyone was interested before telling them to take me off the list. $45/each. Let me know.

I'd like to buy them for future use, but have no room. You could check craigslist, there is usually an ad or two of people looking for keg shells.

Funny - I've been on that list for about that long, too. Even funnier - I have 4 right now and no longer need them.
