Anyone in the Northeast PA area want some free washed Nottingham yeast?
I have 4-1/2 pint containers with about 1/2" yeast in them(2nd generation) about 1 month old, and 4-1/2 pint containers with about 1+" yeast in them(3rd generation) about 2 weeks old. They are refrigerated. I know they only have a certain length of time before they are no good, and I don't know when I will be able to use them. PM me if interested.
I know that I can decant the liquid off and mix with glycerine and freeze to extend the life, but I'm not there yet.
Anybody can be a rockstar when the rest of the room is wearing helmets and drooling on themselves.
