Hi,

Finally filling my first keg, and I just realized that I don't know how much head space to leave. 1", 2", 3", 4"?

Filling two kegs right now so your answers are greatly appreciated.

It doesn't matter. Just don't fill it up too high. Too little is okay

Try to keep it below the in tube. That's what really matters.

Thanks guys. The first keg I started had a 2" air side tube which required I drain almost a quart off. I now have my first two kegs gassed up - I'm going to watch an episode of Battle Star Galactica and then run my last gas line to leave them under pressure to carb up.

Thanks a million!
