Default Leftover corks - reuse?

If you saw my other post where I said I had no questions - I apologize for being a dummy. I went back upstairs to see floating corks in my san bucket and wondered.

So I had less mead than I expected, and I have 7 soaked corks leftover. I am drying the leftover corks now. Can I use them on the next batch?

Default

I've always dried them out and stored them till next time. I seem to drink all my meads before they're more than a few years old so I can't tell you about long long term storage.
