Default Do Hops attract bees?

I have been considering growing hops in my garden. However, I am allergic to bees, and a friend of mine told me that bees are very attracted to hops plants.

Two questions.
(1) is this true?
(2) is there a variety of hops that bees are less attracted to?

I'm pretty sure that as long as you only have female hop plants in your yard the bees will leave them alone.

BTW, the rhizome dealers only sell females, so you'll be good to go.
Looking forward to brewing some beer
