Sounds like fun! As a still very new person at this, I think it'll be a great way to try some things and see what happens.

More details are coming as available. Registration will begin at the end of July/early August. The final prize list will be posted in about 10 days, when I hear back from a vendor.

I won't forget to post the details- I promise!

Are all the judges going to be BJCP? I've entered in a few competitions where it's 1 BJCP and 2 non-apprentice judges and all you really get back is the judges comments 3 times.

Another observation, with a limit of 300 entires and no limit on how many you can enter, aside from not having multiple entries in a style... if you brew like me and some people I know, theoretically only 13 people could be in the competition. (300/23categories.)
HBT is a rather large community, and I know what it's like to have a low turn out of judges and judge beer for 16hours so I see the reason for the 300 entry, but I feel like a lot of people may get left out if we have a few people go nuts and enter 15 beers or something ridiculous like that. Plus it's almost encouraged with the "Brewmaster" award.

Props on taking the initiative to set this up!

I really don't want to limit entries to a set number per person- it'll just be first come (first paid registrations), first served.

The judges are all BJCP judges. You'll get back well done score sheets, with helpful comments. That's really the main reason we need to limit the entries. We want quality for all of us, and the head judge has requested the limit due to space restrictions as well!

Oh you know that I am, fool.
