that is the question...

ok that sounds stupid, but seriously i wanted to see how many people prefer it bubbly as opposed to flat. my cider has always been carbonated and i try drinking it flat but it just reminds me of day old beer from college!

I usually drink it flat. Occasionally I'll carbonate some, but I tend to prefer the still version - the carbonation tends to mask some of the more subtle wine-characteristics.

I have seen in my half and half batches the carbed is drinkable a lot sooner. That is one reason I do it. I also prefer carbonated beverages in the first place.
