So I have been brewing like mad to stockpile some nice summer beers. Currently for the summer:
-Dude's LWPA
-Mike McDole's APA
-Cascade/MO SMaSH
-Dry stout
-Mango Wheat
-Kolsch (planned)
-Wit (planned)
-Saison (planned)

I figure I need a big, very hoppy beer to help with all these easy drinking beers. I have all the ingredients already, what do you think? I am going to have to squeeze this into my schedule, I am planning to be done with brewing for the summer by 6-1 except for the saison.

Recipe: King of Gods IPA
Style: 14B-India Pale Ale(IPA)-American IPA

Wort Volume Before Boil: 30.00 qts
Wort Volume After Boil: 26.00 qts
Volume At Pitching: 22.00 qts
Final Batch Volume: 20.00 qts
Expected OG: 1.072 SG
Expected FG: 1.016 SG
Expected ABV: 7.6 %
Expected IBU (using Rager): 71.0
Expected Color: 10.6 SRM
Mash Efficiency: 70.0 %
Boil Duration: 60.0 mins
Fermentation Temperature: 67 degF

UK Pale Ale Malt (Maris Otter) 16lb 0oz (89.8 %) In Mash/Steeped
US Rye Malt 13.00 oz (4.6 %) In Mash/Steeped
US Caramel 40L Malt 8.00 oz (2.8 %) In Mash/Steeped
Sugar - White Sugar/Sucrose 8.00 oz (2.8 %) Start Of Boil

US Magnum (14.2 % alpha) 0.75 oz Loose Pellet Hops used 60 Min From End
US Zeus (16.4 % alpha) 0.75 oz Loose Whole Hops used 20 Min From End
US Zeus (16.4 % alpha) 1.50 oz Loose Whole Hops used 10 Min From End
US Zeus (16.4 % alpha) 1.50 oz Loose Whole Hops used At turn off
US Zeus (16.4 % alpha) 1.00 oz Loose Pellet Hops used Dry-Hopped

Yeast: DCL US-05 (formerly US-56) SafAle

Mash Schedule
Mash Type: Full Mash
Step: Rest at 151 degF for 60 mins

Similar to my Outburst RyePA, except I have more rye (1.5 pounds flaked), use syrup, and have more sugar to lighten the body to accentuate the hops and rye. I also use Cascade, so I can't comment on the hops, but it's my favorite beer!
