Anyone ever used this before? I'm wanting to pick it up when it becomes available.

* WLP026 Premium Bitter Ale Yeast
PLATINUM STRAIN – May/June
From Staffordshire, England. Fermentation gives a mild, but complex, estery character. Ferments strong and dry. Good for high gravity beers. Best for all English style ales, including bitters, milds, ESBs, porters, stouts, and barley wines.
Attenuation: 70-75%
Flocculation: Medium
Optimum Fermentation Temperature: 67-70°F
Alcohol Tolerance: Medium

Secondary: Bourbon Vanilla Porter
On tap: Some Sort of IPA, Cherry Cider

That looks great, I was planning to brew a bitter next month anyway so I might as well try this strain out.

Austin Homebrew usually carries the White Labs seasonal strains.

If Austin Homebrew doesn't have it they can special order it.

No experience with this strain but I have heard many good things about WLP022.

Just got it in the mail yesterday, Austin Homebrew is carrying it. I'm really looking forward to doing an english bitter with this one and I'll post the details.
