Ok, so maybe this is a silly idea, but since there are so many fun collaborative recipes floating around HBT, I thought we could vote on an IPA, and see if the beer comes out a coherent beer.
I'm thinking we'll follow general IPA guidelines, and vote on the following attributes, to see if we can form some sort of consensus. I'll then compile the recipe, and we'll see if it makes sense.
Here's what we'll vote on:

IBUs (in 5 IBU intervals, from 40-70.)
Original Gravity
ABV
Base Malt
Secondary Malts (multiple choice)
Bittering Hop
Finishing Hop
Dry Hop
Yeast

Am I missing any parameters? SRM?

Fun idea? Any interest?

Alright, great start. But hop was singular for a reason! I'm trying to keep it relatively simple. One hop per category! A little harder perhas..

Original Gravity 1.065
ABV 7%ish
Base Malt Marris Otter
Secondary Malts (multiple choice) None, or a hint of carapils for head
Bittering Hop 4oz East Kent Goldings
Finishing Hop 2oz East Kent Goldings
Dry Hop 1oz East Kent Goldings
Yeast Wyeast 1028 London Ale

Something like that--work out the hops to 65 IBUs. Consider an EKG/Fuggles blend if you like.

None of that American C-hop crap in a real IPA.

Actually simpler.

Rather one-dimensional...but easier.
