The only other Rye that I might could put in there is maybe some none roasted malted rye. I am going by what my local homebrew store has or can get. Cara-Rye is very simular to Cara-Pils except it is made with rye and I have that in there. The Roasted Rye is not malted, the Cara-Rye is malted. As far as I know, You do not have to do anything special to it, just mash it just like the other grains and sparge it. But I will talk it over with my local homebrew store owner before making my wort.
