Default Orientation To The Sun

I tried to search but clicking on a single result gave me a page of threads.

Can I orient my vertical trellis axis to the E-W? It is the best place space wise, is at the rear of my lot, and is hidden from view from house by my giant barn.

This will be 17' tall, 25' long ridge cable length. The sun is mostly SW, so I think is going to be OK, but I'm asking anyway.

I asked this last year.

As long as the plants are spaced sufficiently the orientation doesn't matter, they'll still get sun. Some of the wood or plastic trellis designs could block some sun, though.

EDIT: my thread from last year
