Thermapen on sale

Still expensive but maybe this pulls it down into someone's range.

Thermoworks thermometers are da bomb. They are worth the cash.

How do you use yours Saccharomyces?

I want to purchase one, but am worried that the short probe will limit it's usefulness when mashing (when I'm most concerned about thermometer accuracy).
