So Im just entering in a recipe I found for a weissbier into beersmith.

Here's the recipe for a 5 gallon:
2lb Wheat Malt
2lb Pilsner
.75 Torrified Wheat
.25 Aromatic

3lbs Wheat DME

Now I've brewed this already.. the OG was around 1.050+ I tasted it and it is pretty strong.

Beersmith is telling me that the OG is 1.029 and the Alchohol by Vol Est is 2.75.. which is obviously wrong.

Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong?

Are these malt extract or grains. Malt extract might gert you around the 1050 range for five pounds, grains would be about what Beersmith is telling you.

Sorry.. I just realized my mistake..

I had it on "Extract" rather than "Partial Mash"

My bad.
