I've got my system set to only slow carb my beers so I pour and carb at the same pressure and its all balanced.

Even at low psi will rocking the keg help speed up the carbing process a bit and does it have any pitfalls doing so?? I'm only interested to doing it thru the gas in NOT the beer out post.

Even if it only speeds it up a day or so its easy to do imo

Yes, simply because it gives more surface area for the CO2 to defuse into the fluid.

Yes it absolutely helps but at normal serving pressure you'd have to do it a few times over the course of a day to speed it up.

Yes it will carb faster.

Pitfalls - most beer improves with some time. I find that extra 10 days or so it takes to carbonate improves the beer. Also shaking it will keep some of the fines in suspension which will affect the head and head retention.

I had beer backup into the regulator once while shaking a keg. A check valve in the CO2 line fixed the problem.
