Not to worry, beer snob is only the first step to EAC.

Just bring some pellet hops with you wherever you go and dry hop your bottles of Bud.

...did I mention I like hops.

That's what I am talking about! Hehe! I know those aren't good beers hence why I put "good" in my statement about those beers. I guess I am talking about beers that society has deemed to be good beers and since I dont like them, I am a snob.

We all know the large domestics are junk but, if a buddy orders a Heineken, Stella Artois, Blue Moon, Guiness, or any other big name that is thought to be good. If I make a comment, that's when the name calling starts.

But they really aren't good. Hell they all taste damn near the same. Why pay $4 for something you can get for $1?

Plus places that don't serve good beer rarely clean their lines. Even ones that do are lazy about it. And that is one thing that can ruin any beer.

That is a great idea! I might seriously do that as a joke next time we hit up a bar.

You may be snobbed out right now, but I think most people do after they begin brewing/exploring "snobby" beer styles. You know, the "hop-head phase" and the "Belgian phase" and stuff.

Eventually I think we all round out and settle in with our own tastes defined. Sometimes a palate-ravager sounds good, other times something mild and refreshing sounds nice, other times something full-bodied and malty sounds great.

It's all beer. It's all good.

+1 on that comment.I was thinking the same thing when I read the original post.I'm feeling him though. It wasn't that long ago that I discovered beer that tasted good and I enjoyed the flavor of.It's an awakening of the senses.WOW, something I chugged and took for granted for years now has meaning to me!Still don't have a taste for weak assed pilsners though.

The avatar is a zx600 on California 120. I also have a klr650 and an old suzuki 125 smoker. I've been looking at either ditching the klr (or maybe keeping it) and getting a ktm 690 or husky 610.
