Default Washing Yeast

Hi All

I am new to the brewing game!
I only had done some kits with steeping grains. I read the really good article about washing your yeast and done so twice now.

I would like to know how long will the yeast be viable in the fridge?

I would say anything over a year and you are starting to take a chance.
