Ingredients:
------------
Amount Item
5.00 lb Pale Malt Extract
3.00 lb Wheat Malt, Belgian (2.0 SRM)
1.00 lb Vienna Malt
0.50 lb Flaked Oats
0.50 lb Amber Malt
1.00 lb Pale 6-Row American
0.33 lb Cara-Munich Malt (22.0 SRM)

1.00 oz Fuggles boil for 40 min.
1.00 oz. Styrian Goldings boil for 5 min.

(Burnt orange if you can get it, but if not use regular)
Valencia Orange peel & 1/8 tsp. cinnamon spice
15 min. before end of boil

ADDED 1/8 tsp. cinnamon spice
5 min. before end of boil

1 pack Belgian Wit Ale White Labs WLP400

Turned out pretty damn well with some cool flavors, and the SWMBO is a huge fan as well as most of the ladies I know, though I feel that there are still some things I'd like to change about it - not sure exactly what yet, though.

Anyway, brew it if you're into it and let me know. I'd be really interested to hear some good criticism.

As a side note - ages VERY well. Particularly after about 5 or 6 weeks in bottle at 40 degrees or so.

Tastes absolutely awesome. We saved a few bottles from the hordes and my roommate is amazed at the difference a few weeks has made and wants me to make more immediately. It has become, in his words, "the best **** that ever came out of that plastic thing in the closet."

I know this post has been dormant for awhile but I am going to brew this up tomorrow. I was wondering how many gals. you used to steep your grains? I like what I see with the recipe, I was also thinking about adding a little honey to it. Would be interested in your opinion, thank you
