Thats alot of hops. I am in Paonia all the time, i have to get by there and see this.

All first year this year will be amazing will have almost 12000 bines to pick

So how does the picker work? It looks like you strip the vines of leaves and cones which fall onto the slanted board. The cones roll down the board and the guy with the squegee looking thing pulls the leaves and stems out?

I'm in the process of starting a small-scale commerical farm in New England and am looking for ways to harvest.

A few seconds on the actual stripper would have been nice. Looks like a chicken-wire belt with some plywood to smack the cones through, then a shaker to sieve out leaves.
