Default Yeast recommendation for stout

Planning a raspberry stout. It calls for Wyeast 1099 or Safale 04. I don't have either at my local shop and plan to brew tomorrow. Is nottingham a good substitute?

Yes, Nottingham will do just fine, especially if you want it on the dry side.
