Default 2+ Weeks Active Fermentation

I brewed a BB Hop Nog over two weeks ago. Fermentation started within 36 hours. Two weeks later fermentation is still active. Given the kit, I don't believe there are that much fermentables to cause this. Would a contaminated batch cause "active fermentation"? I have been reluctant removing the lid. Of the 10 - 12 batches I made, this is the first one to have sucha prolonged and active fermentation.

Any thoughts?

relax my good man. It will finish when it finishes. I have had a beer take 4 weeks to ferment out and I have had one that took less than 24 hours of visual fermentation.

Let it sit. you will be good to go.
