The regulator that came with my Midwest keg kit uses a nylon washer between the reg and the bottle. My brother in law gave me a regulator he had with a busted high pressure gauge. It has an o-ring instead of the washer. I'm wanting to chain the two regulators together, but I'm not sure which hookup bit I should use: nylon or o-ring?

Anyone have any input?

Don't think it matters. Go with the one that you trust the most from experience. If it keeps a seal keep it that way, if it doesn't switch it out.

i would use the one with the washer, not the o-ring. they crack, and are prone to leaking more often than the flat washers. i also noticed that the o-rings tend to get compressed more and i dont feel like it seals as well. i have both and prefer the washers.
