Does anyone have or used one of these fermenters?

This seems like a nice simple solution. Could save space hanging on the wall. Also seems like the collector pod on the bottom would be perfect for catching all the sediment. Could do primary and secondary without changing containers.

I am considering purchasing this. I would like to hear what others have to say. I have a small garage and the ability to hang these things on the wall would be nice.

Thanks

I've never seen anything like this, I would like to hear some feedback. I don't see myself using this, but if I downsize. maybe...

I don't recall ever hearing from anyone who has. But I do recall reading somewhere that there are issues with the sample bulb not sealing or collecting properly.

I've got one. It is great for Apfelwein, would be good for regular wine. For beer it is not so good if you have lots of trub/cold break, etc. For yeast harvesters it is pretty cool to use but I no longer bother with that.

I have mine mounted on a handtruck so I can wheel it around, when transferring to keg I lift it up to a higher set of hooks that I installed on top of the handtruck, all this works great.

I also have a 15 gallon Inductor tank from Tank Depot (HBT member) which I mounted on a rolling stand that I made from spare parts. This works much better than the VV for beer.

with all the talk of infections in plastic buckets i worry about plastic fermenters. But they do dispute those fears on that site.
