My vines are starting to grow and I only want to plant the females outside but I can't find anything online to figure out if they are male or female at this stage in there grow. When is the earliest time I can tell and how?

Thank you for your help

You have to check for a root ball.

Sorry I couldn't help it.

If you bought rhizomes online, most places only sell the female plants. If you bought the seeds on ebay, you won't want to brew with them anyway IMHO.

If you purchased rhizomes, 100% chance your plants are female. Commercial growers do not allow male plants in their fields, because then the female plants would set seeds, wasting energy.

Some female plants will put out male flowers if over-stressed.

If you bought seeds, you won't be able to tell until the plants flower. You also won't have any idea what the cones will be like.
