Hello! Will be bottling my first homebrew and am planning on using 16 ounce flip top bottles and Coopers Carb drops.

Does anyone have any experience using the carb drops in 16 ounce bottles? Wondering if I should use 1 or 2.

Thanks so much.

Thanks for your responses. My fear is that I will have had all the fun brewing the beer only to find it somewhat flat a few months from now when I crack one open.

You might want to conduct your own experiment.
One drop is good for a 12 oz bottle... if you are using a 16 it might be a little undercarbed but not much.
Or you could try 2 drops on a couple of bottles.
Or get a pill cutter from the drug store for $5.

Just my .02

Have you thought about trying to batch prime your beer with corn sugar?

About 4.5oz for a five gallon batch will give each bottle the same amount of priming sugar regardless of size!

Just thought I'd throw this out there!
