So I was very lazy after my last batch, and just left the carboy, auto-siphon and tubing soaking in Oxyclean for about two weeks. Now the carboy has a bunch of little Oxyclean crystals stuck to the sides that I can't seem to scrub out. Also the siphon and tubing are either etched or have a heavy residue that I can't scrub off either. Does anyone have any ideas about how to clean this stuff off? Is it safe as is, or did I just ruin my gear?

Thanks!

Well obviously you want to rinse thoroughly...I've left Oxclean water in stuff for several weeks with no problems.

If there is still scale on everything from the oxyclean after you rinse, you could soak in a vinegar/water or a starsan solution.
