For my birthday SWMBO let me spend 50 bucks on stuff at lowes to build a water filter. ( I bought the 0.5 micron carbon filter, houseing misc hose fittings and pvc) Assembled it and havnt used it yet but brew day is tomorrow.
Will the 0.5 micron filter out everything? I know it will get all my chlorine and chloramine but will it take out all my useful brewing salts too?
