My interpretation of this recipe upped it to 7.5 # DME and I'll be using the remaining .5 ish of sterlings and .5ish spalt to dry hop. Additionally, I used Safeale US-05 for my yeast. Plan on having this drinkable in about 20 days.
I have high hopes for this beer.

Just put in fermenter but substituted the sterling for Saaz 3.4% (because sterling wasnt available at the hb store - Melbourne, Australia) , now for the wait!

Thinking about brewing this beer in the coming weeks.

I want to bump up the abv since this looks to only be about 4.5-5% in the original recipe. Maybe get it to 6.5 or so.
Should I add a little sugar or should I use some DME? How much should I use?

Would like a little more hop to it too but I don't want to turn it into an IPA really. Any insights on how to achieve this?

This is a light style as mentioned in the OP. 6.5% is going to yield an entirely different product.

That's a pretty high fg for what it is. I wonder if anybody has a review on this. I am looking for a light style brew and plan to craft something with 4-5% with a single extract and a couple of different hops.
